Tennis Court Scheduling

Updated February 2026

Manage tennis court bookings, lessons, leagues, and tournaments with flexible scheduling options.

Overview

Fieldspace provides comprehensive tennis court management, from casual court rentals to organized leagues and USTA tournaments. Handle indoor and outdoor courts with different booking rules.

Court Setup

Setting up your tennis courts in Fieldspace is straightforward. Navigate to Facilities → Add Facility and select "Tennis Court" as the facility type. From there, enter the court name, number, and surface type (hard, clay, grass, or indoor). You can also indicate whether the court has lights for evening play, which helps Fieldspace adjust available booking hours automatically.

Court Booking

Once your courts are configured, you can fine-tune how reservations work. Fieldspace lets you set booking increments (30, 60, or 90 minutes), configure how far in advance players can reserve, and define separate pricing for prime time and off-peak hours. Recurring reservations are supported for regular players, and you can enforce cancellation policies to protect against last-minute no-shows.

Lessons & Clinics

Fieldspace makes it easy to schedule all types of tennis instruction. You can set up private lessons tied to specific pros, group clinics organized by skill level, and multi-week junior development programs. Social events like cardio tennis can also be added to the calendar. Each pro's availability is managed centrally, so members can see open lesson slots and book directly through the portal.

Leagues & Ladders

Run singles and doubles leagues with automated match scheduling and standings tracking. Fieldspace supports challenge ladder systems where players can move up or down based on match results, as well as USTA team tennis coordination. Scores can be reported directly through the platform, and standings update in real time as results come in.

Tournaments

Host tournaments of any size with built-in draw generation and seeding. Fieldspace optimizes scheduling across multiple courts to minimize wait times, and sends match time notifications to players automatically. Live bracket updates keep participants and spectators informed, and the platform integrates with USTA TennisLink for sanctioned events.
