Pickleball Court Scheduling

Overview

Fieldspace helps pickleball facilities manage the unique needs of the fastest-growing sport. Handle dedicated courts, converted tennis courts, and high-demand open play sessions.

Court Setup

Add your pickleball courts through Facilities → Add Facility and select"Pickleball Court". Enter the court name and number, specify whether it's a dedicated pickleball court or shared with tennis, and indicate indoor/outdoor status and lighting availability. Shared courts can be configured to toggle between sports based on the schedule.

Court Booking

Pickleball bookings typically use shorter time increments of 30 to 60 minutes compared to other court sports. Fieldspace supports group bookings for four or more players, peak demand pricing for busy hours, and priority booking windows for members. You can also define guest policies and fees so non-members can play while your members still get first access to popular time slots.

Open Play Sessions

Open play is central to pickleball culture, and Fieldspace provides dedicated tools to manage it well. Set open play hours and allocate specific courts, then organize sessions by skill level (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) to keep games competitive. A built-in paddle queue management system handles player rotation automatically, and participants can check in via the app or an on-site kiosk.

Leagues & Ladders

Organize competitive play with doubles and singles leagues in round-robin or ladder formats. Fieldspace integrates with DUPR for skill rating tracking, so players are matched fairly. For doubles leagues, the platform can assist with partner matching based on skill level and availability. Playoff scheduling is handled automatically at the end of each season.

Lessons & Clinics

Schedule a full range of instruction from beginner introduction clinics to advanced strategy sessions. Fieldspace supports private and semi-private lesson formats, as well as group skills-and-drills sessions. Each instructor's availability is managed centrally, making it easy for players to find and book open lesson times through the member portal.
