Overview

Fieldspace helps you maximize basketball court usage with smart scheduling for games, practices, open gym, and special events. Handle multiple courts and divisions with ease.

Court Setup

Add your basketball courts by navigating to Facilities → Add Facility and selecting"Basketball Court" as the facility type. Enter the court name, location, and size (full court or half court), along with amenities like scoreboards, shot clocks, and bleachers. These details help players and staff understand exactly what each space offers when making bookings.

Court Divisions

Fieldspace lets you split a single court into multiple bookable areas to maximize usage. A full court can host games and scrimmages, while cross-court setups allow multiple practices to run simultaneously. Half courts work well for skills training and shooting drills. The system automatically prevents conflicting bookings across divisions, so you never have to worry about overlap.

League Management

Fieldspace handles every aspect of running basketball leagues. Create divisions organized by age, skill level, or gender, and let the platform generate balanced schedules automatically. You can assign referees to individual games, and all scores and standings are tracked in real time. When the regular season ends, playoff brackets are generated based on your configured seeding rules.

Open Gym Sessions

For drop-in basketball, Fieldspace lets you define open gym hours with capacity limits to avoid overcrowding. Players can check in online to reserve their spot, and you can choose to charge per session or include open gym access as part of a membership plan. Attendance tracking helps you identify the most popular time slots so you can adjust your schedule accordingly.

Tournaments

Host tournaments in single elimination, double elimination, or pool play formats. Fieldspace generates brackets automatically and optimizes scheduling across multiple courts to keep games running on time. Brackets update in real time as results are entered, and the platform integrates with external tournament registration systems for a seamless participant experience.
