Calendar Sync

Connect Fieldspace with Google Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar applications to keep everything in sync.
Overview
Fieldspace integrates with popular calendar applications so you can view your bookings alongside other commitments. Calendar sync helps you:
- See facility bookings in your personal calendar
- Avoid scheduling conflicts with other events
- Get booking reminders on your phone or computer
- Share availability with staff members
Google Calendar
To connect Google Calendar:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar
- Click "Connect Google Calendar"
- Sign in with your Google account
- Grant Fieldspace permission to access your calendar
- Select which calendars to sync
Once connected, Fieldspace bookings will appear in your Google Calendar within a few minutes. You can choose to create a separate calendar for Fieldspace bookings or add them to an existing calendar.
Microsoft Outlook
To connect Microsoft Outlook:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar
- Click "Connect Outlook"
- Sign in with your Microsoft account
- Grant Fieldspace permission to access your calendar
- Select sync preferences
Outlook integration works with both personal Microsoft accounts and Microsoft 365 business accounts.
Apple Calendar
For Apple Calendar (iCal), you can subscribe to a calendar feed:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar
- Copy your unique calendar feed URL
- In Apple Calendar, go to File → New Calendar Subscription
- Paste the feed URL and click Subscribe
- Configure refresh frequency and other options
iCal Feeds
Fieldspace generates iCal feeds that work with any calendar application that supports the iCal format. Each feed has a unique URL that you can subscribe to.
Available feeds:
- All bookings - Every booking across all facilities
- Per facility - Bookings for a specific facility
- Per staff member - Bookings assigned to a staff member
- Personal - Your own bookings and assignments
Two-Way Sync
With two-way sync enabled, changes made in your external calendar can update Fieldspace bookings:
- Move a booking to a different time
- Change booking duration
- Delete a booking (cancellation)
Two-way sync is available for Google Calendar and Outlook. Enable it in your integration settings. Note that some changes (like changing courts) must still be made in Fieldspace.
Troubleshooting
If bookings aren't appearing in your calendar:
- Check connection status - Verify the integration is active in Settings
- Refresh the calendar - External calendars may take a few minutes to update
- Check permissions - Ensure Fieldspace has calendar access
- Reconnect - Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
