Send announcements, renewal reminders, and targeted messages to your members—all from within Fieldspace.

Overview

You already have your members' contact info in Fieldspace, so why use a separate tool to email them? Built-in communications let you send announcements, reminders, and updates directly from the same place you manage everything else.

Announcements

Need to tell everyone something? Announcements go out to all members (or a specific group):

"The facility will be closed Thursday for maintenance"
"New pickleball courts opening next month!"
"Summer tournament registration is open"
"Updated guest policy effective March 1st"

You can send announcements via email, display them as banners in the member portal, or both. Email reaches everyone; portal banners catch people when they're booking.

Renewal Notices

Don't let memberships lapse because people forgot. Fieldspace sends automatic renewal reminders:

30 days before expiry: "Your membership expires soon"
7 days before: "Last week to renew!"
Day of expiry: "Your membership expires today"
Follow-ups if they still haven't renewed

Each email includes a link to renew right from their phone. You can customize the timing and message content to match your voice.

Targeted Messages

Sometimes you don't want to email everyone. Targeted messages let you reach specific groups:

All Gold members: "Exclusive early access to tournament registration"
Members at the downtown location: "Parking garage closure this weekend"
Members who haven't booked in 30+ days: "We miss you! Here's 20% off your next booking"
New members (joined last week): "Welcome! Here's what you need to know"

Tip

That "haven't booked recently" segment is gold for retention. A friendly "we miss you" email with a small incentive can bring back members before they cancel entirely.

All your automated emails can be customized to match your brand and voice:

Templates support merge tags for personalization—things like {{first_name}}, {{membership_plan}}, {{expiry_date}}. So even mass emails feel personal: "Hi Sarah, your Gold membership expires on April 15th."
